Proposition 23 Debate Success

Thank you to all that attended the Prop 23 Debate presented by the University of San Francisco Environmental Law Society. The event was a tremendous success and has created quite a conversation on campus about the issues surrounding Proposition 23, which would Suspend Ab 32, the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006.

Prop 23 Debate

This Wednesday the USF Environmental Law Society will be hosting a very special event on climate change. Alex Jackson (NRDC) will be debating Doug Haaland (consultant to the Republican Caucus) on the pros and cons of Proposition 23, an initiative to repeal California's climate change legislation until the employment rate improves. This is one of the most hotly contested initiatives on the ballot and is very important for California's future. An introduction will be given by moderator Professor Alice Kaswan.
